Commission
How does it work?
There are two rates of commission, which you will need to choose between, when handing in items:
If you are happy for anything unsold or unsuitable to go to charity you will receive 35% of any sales and we take 65%. However if you would like any unsold or unsuitable items returned to you, you will receive 25% of any sales and we will take 75%.
Our commission rates on larger single items priced over £18.50 is £12.00 and the customer gets the balance.
When you hand in your items, you will be given a customer number, which will be put on all the clothes, toys, books etc before they go into the shop for sale. If you have been given a number already, it always helps us if you could put this with you name on any bags you bring in.
Once your items go out into the shop (we always work on a backlog so this may take several weeks) they will be there for three clear months, after this the items will be reduced for a month by 25% and if they have not sold in this time will be taken off the racks and either returned to you or sent to charity.
